There is Instant Execution or Market Execution and both of them have their advantages as well as their disadvantages. Instant execution refers to the required price quoted by the trader.
If the price has changed, then the trader will receive a re-quote on his request with the new rate. The bad news is that sometimes there is a delay to execute such a trade and thus this may not be suitable for traders that use scalping strategies or when there are news releases because of the delay.
Market execution refers for the execution at that time but at the available Market rate on the given time. The good news for Market execution is the positive slippage when it occurs as well as the fast execution of the trade however, you cannot control the negative slippage which may affect your trade as a whole.
Usually, Forex Brokers that claim to act as agents between their clients and their liquidity providers tend to offer Market Execution whereas Market Maker Brokers usually offer instant execution.
Trading Forex, CFDs and other leveraged derivatives is considered a high risk investment and may not be suitable for everyone.
