Log in or Sign up. NET trio for a few weeks and this week has been a disaster and I need to consider an alternative data provider I think. That mostly was resolved by Wednesday but there are still odd issues and MC support told me via live chat that data issues still exist.
Then on Thursday I had an active order on which I clicked 'close' and saw it partially fill. I cancelled and was left seeing a partial long position I could see it in the open position tab of MC. In fact my position was flat, something I only discovered after an MC. This led to me being out of a lucrative trade that I thought I was in. Finally I have discovered an ongoing issue with MC. I've noticed that tick charts diverge - two instances of MC on the same computer and both displaying a CQG tick chart will start the same but build bars at different rates and end up looking like different charts.
Only when data is reloaded will they look the same again. I've discussed the problem here: Unfortunately cannot give you any ETA regarding when it will be fixed, most likely it will be fixed in one of the future versions. Or is Rithmic an option? I don't mind paying a little for a feed where I don't suffer the data issue but where should I look?
You need to make a list of what functionality CQG has that makes it work for you, then find the appropriate platform that will have those functions. CQG has a lot of profesional grade functionality that is hard to replace. Any platform connected to this old api was affected. Ninjatrader users were unable to log into their platforms for over an hour - until CQG was able to rollback the old api for Ninjatrader. You must log in or sign up to reply here.
